Open Position: Business Analyst
Business Analyst
Location: Palo Alto, CA; Boston, MA; New York, NY
Role and Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for helping gather analytics requirements, document Lattice solutions, and deliver business insights from professional services engagements. The BA will work closely with a customer delivery team composed of 2-3 people with mixed backgrounds (business & sales, mathematics & predictive analytics, database & data management). The successful candidate will have solid written and oral communication skills and a strong analytical background. He/she should feel comfortable interacting in teams and as well as independently with limited oversight. Candidates must have interest & aptitude in engaging directly with Lattice end-customers. Some travel (30%) and customer-site work may be required.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (Math, Physics, Economics, and Engineering) and/or strong analytical skills is preferred
- Analytics experience should include delivering business insights from data leveraging Excel pivot tables or models, Access, or business intelligence tools
- Interaction with end users and business sponsors will require excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sales & Marketing domain knowledge, basic SQL skills, and familiarity with relational databases is highly desirable, but not required
- Applicant could be an IT Analyst (or Business Analysts in an IT organization) with requirements gathering, documentation, and analytical problem solving experience
