Location: Palo Alto, CA; Boston, MA; New York, NY
Role and Responsibilities:
The Director Solution Delivery will be responsible for delivering Lattice solutions to Fortune 500 customers. The successful candidate will have a proven track-record of managing complex, analytical projects. He/she will have strong people skills and an ability to manage both customers and other team members.
The Director Solution Delivery will lead multiple solution-delivery teams composed of 2-3 Delivery Specialists, serving as the primary point-of-contact for Lattice Engines customers. He/she will help define the customer solution, manage schedules, manage requirements and ensure on-time delivery. In addition, the Director Solution Delivery will proactively identify new customer opportunities and surface new product development ideas.
The career path for this individual can take three directions. First, a Director of Solution Delivery can assume progressive responsibility in Lattice's delivery organization – leading groups of delivery managers and structuring the growth of this organization. Second, a Director can transition to Lattice's Customer Solutions & Sales organization – taking on a primary sales role within 18-24 months. Third, a Director can become a leader in Lattice's product management organization.
Requirements:
- At least two years experience in project management for delivery of analytic solutions ( e.g., applicant could be an experienced associate or an early manager in technology consulting, or have delivered solutions for other analytics companies)
- Familiarity with databases (Access/SQL Server/Oracle); experience leading deployment of cubes/data-marts is a plus
- Undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (Math, Physics, Economics and Engineering) is preferred
- Strong people skills and ability to manage clients and other team members
- Candidate must demonstrate potential to rapidly progress along one of the three career paths outlined above
- Management consulting experience is a plus
