Software Engineers
Location: Boston, MA
Role and Responsibilities:
Lattice Engines is looking for talented software engineers. Joining a very experienced core development team, these positions may be tailored to individual interests and cover the breadth of our enterprise analytics platform --- from user interface development through numerical optimization and data management.
We are looking for smart candidates, with a strong CS background and an interest in applying their experience to very difficult problems. Our platform leverages concepts from a variety of domains, and candidates must be comfortable applying hard science techniques to business problems.
Requirements:
- Strong academic background (CS, EE, Math, Physics) and either 2-6 years industry experience or very strong internships. At Lattice Engines, we appreciate advanced degrees.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, and an interest in broadening this knowledge.
- Industry experience programming in C++ or C#.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- A strong sense of responsibility and an ability to drive projects through to completion.
- RDBMS experience would be helpful.
- While not required, experience on numerical software projects would be beneficial.
- For some positions, development experience at the compiler or database internals level would be very helpful.
