1. Secure Data Transfer from Customer to Lattice Engines

Data transfer is typically executed via encrypted SFTP (secure file transfer protocol) through an alternate secure, encrypted channel or via an established, tested VPN tunnel.

2. Lattice Engines Data Hosting

Rackspace Datacenter: Customer data is hosted at Rackspace facilities, which are located in the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Hong Kong. Rackspace systems are SAS70 compliant with robust internal and external security mechanisms.

  • Network protection:
    - Firewalls
    - Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
    - AntiVirus
    - Anti-SpyWare  
  • Physical protection:
    - Only authorized Rackspace personnel have access to physical servers, and are controlled by photo badges, proximity access cards, and biometric devices
    - Guard force personnel at entrance
    - 24x7x365 visual surveillance with CCTV/DVRs

Data Compartmentalization: Customer data is kept in distinct production databases and is only accessible to specified Lattice Engines operations and services professionals.

3. Secure Access to salesPRISM

salesPRISM access control:

  • Authorized users can access salesPRISM through direct https via secure socket layer encryption (SSL)
  • Authorized users can access salesPRISM through an internal customer CMS such as Salesforce.com or Siebel

Single sign-on (SSO):

  • Enabled by Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) version 2.0
  • Direct https access is accessible only through the Lattice Engines proprietary authentication interface
  • Can be integrated with Active Directory
