This Privacy Policy applies to Lattice Engines, Inc., a subsidiary of Dun & Bradstreet ("Lattice Engines") and the Lattice Engines website https://www.lattice-engines.com.

Lattice Engines is committed to protecting the privacy of our website's users, event participants, information recipients and users of our applications and services (collectively referred to as our "customers"). Who we are

Our mission is to create an AI platform that enables companies to engage their buyers with 1-to-1 omni-channel experiences and make B2B marketing and sales as personalized as that in B2C.

Personal Information Collected

You can access the Lattice Engines website without providing us with any personal information. However, the Lattice Engines website does collect information from our users at points where you volunteer your personal information in response to information forms. Personal information collected may include your first name, last name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, comments, number of sales reps, technology use, annual revenue, number of employees, job function, industry, number of products sold, social identifications, and project timelines.

Blog/Forum
Our website offers publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any information you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. You can request the removal of your personal information from our blog or community forum, by contacting us here.  In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

Testimonials
We display personal testimonials of satisfied customers on our website in addition to other endorsements. With your consent we may post your testimonial along with your name.  If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us.

Social Media Widgets
Our website includes social media features, such as a Facebook button and widgets, the Twitter button or interactive mini-programs that run on our website. These features may collect your IP address, track which pages you are visiting on our website, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing these features.

Lattice Engines collects information under the direction of its customers, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal information it processes.

Our Purpose for Collecting Personal Information

Our Purpose for Collecting personal information is to continually improve our AI platform and enable companies to engage their buyers with 1-to-1 omni-channel experience and make B2B marketing as personalized as B2C marketing.

How Do We Use and Share Information?

Visitor information (when volunteered by the user) will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the personalization and overall website experience. This information is retained to better serve you or to contact you with relevant updates, news, offers, or information. If you decide you do not want to be contacted, please let us know by sending an email privacy@lattice-engines.com and including a message communicating this in the subject line and body of the email or by using the “unsubscribe” link found in emails we send you and we will cease to use your information for that purpose.

We may share your business contact information with third parties who provide services on our behalf to help with our business activities. These companies are authorized to use your business relevant information only as necessary to provide these services to us. 
For example, some services include the following or similar services: 

  • Fulfilling orders and delivering packages
  • Payment processing
  • Providing customer service
  • Sending marketing communications
  • Web applications, firewalls and other security measures

To Worldwide Express, for the purposes of delivering packages, we will share as needed the name of the recipient of the package, the address to which it will be delivered and an office phone number for questions in the event there is an issue to be resolved in the delivery of the package. Within Marketo, we store the name of business contacts who have self-identified to Lattice Engines as interested in our products and services either through providing us with information through our corporate website, www.lattice-engines.com, or in the course of direct meeting or correspondence.  This information which is stored on the Marketo platform is not shared with Marketo, who has no access to this information.  

The type of information that may be shared with service providers includes the following, or similar data elements: 

  • Business Title
  • Organization where they work
  • Role within the organization
  • The physical address of their office within the organization they work
  • Business email
  • Business phone number (including mobile number if used for business purposes)
  • Size of the organization
  • What content they engage us on
Within Salesforce.com, Lattice Engines stores the following information regarding our customers (Salesforce tech support may view these data elements):
  • Customer name
  • Employee name
  • Corporate email
  • Corporate phone number (including mobile number if used for business purposes)
  • The physical address of their office within the organization they work
  • Hypertext link to linked-in profile

Cloudflare may have access to application traffic of Lattice Engines public websites and service offerings.  This permits Cloudflare to provide Lattice Engines with the services of a web application firewall, providing protection against malicious use and distributed denial of service attacks.

We use Sure Shot and typically, Sure Shot does not have access to the authorized contents of our customer’s business contacts in their licensed use of either the Marketo or Eloqua marketing platforms, although there may be exceptions from time to time.

In certain situations, Lattice Engines may be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

We may disclose your personal information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process and when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

If Lattice Engines is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via our website Privacy Notice of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

Lattice Engines contractually requires that recipients only use the information for the intended purpose of the disclosure and that they destroy or return the information when it is no longer needed. Lattice Engines has a vendor evaluation procedure to assess their ability to comply with these obligations.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer's hard drive and that often includes an anonymous unique identifier. When you visit a website, that website's computer asks your computer for permission to store this text file in a section of your hard drive that is specifically designated for cookies. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it. Your browser will only permit a website to access the cookies that it has previously sent to you and not the cookies sent to you by other websites.

We at Lattice Engines and our partners use cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the website, track users’ movements around the website, and to gather demographic information about our userbase as a whole. Log Files

Like most standard websites, we automatically collect information in log files. This includes your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the website, track user movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. We do not use this automatically collected data in conjunction with other information we collect about you.

Behavioral Targeting / Re-targeting

We partner with third party ad networks to either display advertising on our Web site or to manage our advertising on other sites. Our ad network partners use cookies and Web beacons to collect non-personally identifiable information about your activities on this and other Web sites to provide you targeted advertising based upon your interests.  

You can access the Lattice Engines website without providing us with any personal information. 

Most Internet browsers allow users to decide whether to accept cookies and how long to keep them on their hard drive. You may reset your browser to refuse cookies and still use our website, although website access and functionality may be slower and less convenient.

Security

The security of your personal information is important to us.  Lattice Engines maintains commercially reasonable security measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure and that are consistent with our business operations and generally accepted industry standards.  These measures include the implementation of technical, physical and administrative security safeguards. As an example, log in credentials are encrypted during transmission.  Lattice Engines requires employees to complete privacy and security training.  Lattice Engines also implements a third party service provider due diligence program to ensure that our vendors likewise employ adequate data collection, processing, transfer, management and security measures in carrying out their services on our behalf. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however.  Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We do not necessarily control how you send us your personal information. Therefore, we cannot always ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us. You agree that you provide this information and engage in such transmissions at your own risk. Once we receive information from you, we will endeavor to maintain its security on our systems. Lattice Engines has established policies and procedures for securely managing information and protecting Data against unauthorized access and we continually assess our data privacy, information management and data security practices. We do this in the following ways:

Protecting against unauthorized access to customer data by using data encryption, authentication and virus detection technology, as required;

Conducting background checks on employees and providing Data Privacy training to our team members;

Continually assessing our data privacy, information management and data security practices.

Data Retention

We will retain personal information we process on behalf of our customers for as long as needed to provide services to our customer. Lattice Engines will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Access to Data Controlled by our Customers

Lattice Engines has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal information it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the Lattice Engines customer (the data controller). If the customer requests Lattice to remove the data, we will respond to their request within 30 business days.

Privacy Shield

Lattice Engines participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. Lattice Engines is committed to subjecting all personal information received from European Union (EU) member countries and Switzerland, in reliance on the Privacy Shield Framework, to the Framework’s applicable Principles. Lattice Engines is responsible for the processing of personal information it receives, under the Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Lattice Engines complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal information from the EU and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions.

With respect to personal information received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Framework, Lattice Engines is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the [U.S. Federal Trade Commission]. In certain situations, Lattice Engines may be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services.  We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Referral
If you choose to use our referral service to tell someone about our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. Lattice Engines complies with EU/EEA to US cross border transfer requirements by entering into standard contractual clauses or using other mechanisms available under the EU Data protection laws.
